Join us to celebrate the 10th Anniversary of Resonance Records — a multi-Grammy award winning 501(c)(3) non-profit foundation based in Los Angeles — with an all-star roster of jazz artists associated with the label, including vocalists Polly Gibbons and Aubrey Logan, clarinetist Eddie Daniels, violinist Christian Howes and many more. The label was founded by audio engineer/producer George Klabin in 2008 with the mission to discover and nurture rising jazz stars and preserve the history of jazz. In 2009, Klabin teamed up with co-president and producer Zev Feldman, who oversees the highly-acclaimed and Grammy winning historical releases arm of Resonance. The music on these 2 nights will pull from the vast catalog of Resonance recordings, with an eclectic mix of styles from Latin to straight-ahead to blues.

Seventeen musicians will perform selections from the Resonance jazz catalog during 3 consecutive sets each night. Each set will contain entirely different selections. Set 1 will feature vocalists, and sets 2 and 3 will feature instrumental headliners combined in different groupings playing music from the Resonance catalog, including salutes to Wes Montgomery and Stan Getz.

Headlining will be the world’s greatest jazz clarinet player, Eddie Daniels, performing selections from his latest Resonance Records release “The Heart of Brazil – The Music of Egberto Gismonti” with the renowned Harlem String Quartet; Rising Star Jazz Violinist Christian Howes; and Brazilian jazz great, trumpeter Claudio Roditi. Vocalists Polly Gibbons and Aubrey Logan will sing selections from their Resonance recordings. Joining the headliners are two all-star rhythm sections that have performed on numerous Resonance releases: pianists Josh Nelson (Natalie Cole, Peter Erskine) and Donald Vega (Ron Carter Trio); bassists Kevin Axt (Tierney Sutton, Seal) and Richie Goods (Chris Botti), Alicia Keys); drummers Mauricio Zottarelli (Richard Galliano, Claudio Roditi) and Mark McLean (Jamie Cullum, Billy Joel, Gladys Knight); and also Guitarist Paul Bollenback (Joey DeFrancesco, Arturo Sandoval).
